just managed to assemble it myself. Following a tech post and verifying with the service manual. I had my lower engine done with a few little machining extras...they did the bottom end assembly, then I had them do the head...some machining extras...full re-assembly of heads and that saved me a lot of time. Basically I just had a block with piston and rods fitted to a crank and 2 heads fully assembled with cams re-attached. I just gave him the performance parts that I wanted in the block and heads and it was done. From there just assembly, which I am near the finish line on. I saved a lot of money using this route and was able to put the money I was gonna pay for someone else to build me a whole engine and bought other performance parts. Plus I had the satisfaction of knowing I did the work myself and more over knew it was done right since I double check my work. If you are knowledgable of the engine I'd say go for it, if you are not comfortable and have little knowledge of re-assembly motions...you may want to flip for full deal. You have some good vendors that do great builds...not just supply performance parts. Good luck with whatever you do.
